How TimCraft Studio handles user data.

Revised

Scope

TimCraft Studio is a team building useful apps and tools. This policy applies to this website and our apps that link to this page.

Features and data processing may differ by app and platform. Details for individual products are provided below. If an app has its own policy or a specific notice, read it alongside the general rules on this page.

The official publisher and its details are listed in the app's store listing. The team name on this website does not change the store account holder's details.

What data is used

App data
Selected files, processing results, queues, history and settings are needed for the tools to work. Storage locations and processing details are described for each app below.
Advertising service data
In ad-supported apps, the embedded SDK may process device identifiers and technical information to deliver and measure advertising. Providers and settings vary by app.
Support requests
When you contact us, we receive the sender's email address and message. We use this information to respond and resolve your request.
Website visits
Cloudflare hosting processes technical request data, including IP address, page address and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. We do not connect advertising scripts or our own analytics on this page and do not set tracking cookies.

We use data to provide the stated features, save your chosen settings, answer requests and display advertising where provided. New features requiring different data must be accompanied by an appropriate in-app notice and an update to this page.

Advertising and third-party platforms

Advertising services receive data directly through their SDK. Depending on the service and configuration, this may include advertising and technical identifiers, IP addresses and network parameters, device and operating system information, and ad interaction events.

This information is used to deliver and measure advertising, limit ad frequency and, where allowed by your settings and applicable rules, personalize ads. Declining personalization does not stop technical data exchange with the advertising service.

An app store separately processes the information you provide to it. Its account, payments and services are governed by its own documents. A service being mentioned in this policy does not mean it is embedded in every studio app.

Your choices and settings

If an app offers an advertising personalization choice, you can change it in its privacy settings. You can also manage the advertising identifier and app permissions in your operating system settings.

Withdrawing your choice affects future processing within the SDK's capabilities. For data already received by a third-party service, use its data controls or contact us so we can help identify the recipient of your request.

Age restrictions are set separately for each app and shown in the store. Do not send support any information about a child that is not needed to resolve your request.

Website preferences and consent

On your first visit, the site asks whether to remember your chosen theme and language for future visits. If allowed, they are stored in browser localStorage; if declined, only in the current tab’s sessionStorage. Your answer is stored separately in localStorage so the prompt is not repeated. This data is not sent to the studio. The website has no analytics, advertising cookies or personalized ads. Change your choice using Site preferences at the bottom of any page. Clearing site data removes preferences and your answer, so the prompt will appear again. Previously confirmed necessary preferences are migrated without asking again. Website preferences do not change consent in the apps.

Data storage and protection

Local data stays on your device until you delete it, clear app data or uninstall the app. Files you save outside the app are deleted separately. Recovery after deletion is unavailable without a backup.

Support correspondence is retained while the request is handled and then deleted, unless further retention is required by applicable rules or to resolve a related dispute.

We restrict access to support messages to people helping resolve user requests. The public website uses HTTPS. Advertising SDK transmission and storage are determined by app settings and the providers' documents; the studio does not set retention periods on their servers.

Apps and tools

The features and data processing for AudioLab Mini and DupClean are described below. Advertising and purchase features depend on the app version and store.

Our audio tool

Working name: AudioLab Mini. Current development Android package: com.audiolab.mini. The app converts, trims and compresses audio, extracts sound from video and processes a queue of files.

You select files through the system picker. Audio and video are processed locally; the app does not send their contents to an advertising network or studio server. Temporary copies, results, history, queues and settings are stored on the device. Processing features work offline. You choose where to save results outside the app and the recipient when sharing through the system Share menu.

The ad-supported version uses Yandex Mobile Ads SDK: one banner on the home screen, with no ads over conversion. The SDK and its service components may process advertising and technical identifiers, device parameters, IP addresses and ad events to deliver and measure advertising. The SDK includes AppMetrica components; a separate studio analytics account is not connected. Provider information: Yandex Mobile Ads data processing.

You are offered a personalization choice before the first ad request. Change it under Settings → Advertising and privacy. SDK geolocation is disabled. Declining personalization does not block audio tools and does not stop technical advertising data exchange.

Notification and background processing permissions are needed to show progress for long operations. Audio tools do not require access to contacts, microphone, camera or location. The ad-supported version uses the internet and SDK permissions; it is not entirely offline.

The Google Play version provides an optional one-time purchase to remove ads. The store processes the payment; the app receives purchase status, not bank card details. Availability depends on the store and product configuration. The RuStore version requires a separate payment integration.

Delete results and history in the app settings. Files previously saved to another folder or shared with another app are deleted separately. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes local app data. Questions about data processing: timcraft.studio@yandex.ru.

DupClean — duplicate finder

Android package: com.timcraft.dupclean. The app is being prepared for release. It finds exact duplicates, similar photos, large files and downloads for you to review.

The app accesses media through Android system permissions and folders you explicitly choose in the system picker. Access to selected folders may be retained for future scans. The app does not request all-files access.

Scanning takes place on the device. Comparisons use file information, size, modification date, content hashes and visual photo signatures. Names, paths, hashes, previews and file contents are not uploaded to studio servers. Settings, the last scan index and comparison cache are stored locally.

You review and select the files to delete. Media deletion uses Android's system confirmation; files in selected folders are deleted by the file provider after confirmation in the app. Deletion may be irreversible; the studio does not back up your original files.

Clear the local index and cache under Settings → Clear scan history. This is different from deleting the files themselves. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes local app data; it does not undo previously confirmed file deletion.

The current prepared version includes Google Play Billing for an optional one-time ad-removal purchase. The purchase product is not yet configured for public sales. No advertising SDK or third-party analytics is connected; production ads are not displayed. If the services change, this section will be updated before that version is released. Audio files and photos are not sent to the payment system; the store processes payment data under its own documents.

Contact and deletion requests

For personal data, access, correction, deletion or withdrawal requests, email timcraft.studio@yandex.ru. Include the app name, platform and a description of your request. We will review it within the time limits required by applicable rules.

Do not send passwords, documents or payment details. If data exists only on your device, delete it through the app or browser settings. If an advertising service processes the data, we can help identify how to contact it. Yandex provides data management tools.

Policy changes

The current version is published on this page with its revision date. When an app's data processing changes, we update its section. Material changes requiring new consent are accompanied by a separate request in the app.

We will remember your answer separately so we do not ask again. Change it using Site preferences at the bottom of any page.
